Painless Injections with The Wand®

Winner of the Medical Design Excellence Awards, The Wand® is a lightweight handpiece that resembles a pen. The computer-controlled system allows for an even-flow delivery of anesthetic in a very comfortable, non-threatening manner. It eliminates the “bee sting” effect – that painful consequence from a fluid surge into a confined tissue area.  It also minimizes the unnecessary numbness of the tongue, cheek, and face. Imagine leaving our office without a “fat lip” feeling.

Dental Insurance and My Patients

In order to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding, I would like to explain both the principles of my practice and the type of care I provide to my patients.

We do not accept insurance but don’t let that scare you.  If you have an out of network plan, your insurance company will reimburse you the contracted periodontal/implant percentage for your care.

The main reason I don’t accept insurance is because, as a medical professional, my obligation & fiduciary responsibility is to provide optimal dental and medical care. In order to uphold these standards, I invest in the most state-of-the-art equipment, attend advanced training and educational seminars to obtain the highest skill level and hire the most seasoned and reliable staff. Working within the confines of the insurance industries’ limited benefits and bureaucracy would not cover my overhead and more importantly would profoundly compromise the level of patient care. Quite simply, it would be financially impossible for my doors to stay open as most insurance companies base their usual and customary fees on nationwide Medicare rates and our level of care is at the other end of the quality spectrum.

In order to help you maximize your insurance benefits we will:

  • Prioritize your treatment and determine what problems should be solved first.  This way you, not the third party payer, are involved in the decision-making process.
  • Submit “pre-authorization” requests.
  • File your insurance claims.
  • Process all follow-up insurance queries.
  • Write letters of medical necessity.
  • Resubmit lost claims.
  • Submit info to your employer, union, etc, to help you implement a more adequate company dental plan.
  • Offer Payment Option Plans.

Please remember that the financial obligation for dental treatment is between you and this office.  The third-party payer or insurance carrier is responsible to you, not our office.

No question is too small for you to ask, whether it is about your treatment plan, benefits or statement.  Stop in or call anytime you have a question.  I am here to help you not only achieve and maintain your oral health but to comfortably deal with any financial concerns as well.

Payment Options

We understand that paying for your dental treatment can be challenging for some of our patients. That’s why we offer flexible payment options to help you get the smile you deserve without breaking the bank.

Option 1

You can pay for your treatment in full with a credit or debit card, checks or cash at the time of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Option 2

We also offer an in-house payment plan for our patients who are unable to pay for their treatment in full. This plan requires a 50% down payment at the time of service, and the remaining 50% can be divided for up to 6 months with a credit or debit card on file.

There are no lenders, meaning we do not run credit checks. This is an in-house payment plan, done with us. The goal is to offer you the flexibility to spread the cost of your treatment over a 6 month period in order to get the treatment you need ASAP.

If you are interested in our in-house payment plan, please fill out our Financial Agreement Form and bring it to your appointment. Our staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
